Born in Chiba, Japan, Taca Ozawa began his career as a hairstylist in 1996. After gaining experience as a hair colorist and educator, he moved to Toronto, Canada, in 2002.

In 2007, he joined Ford Models Artists Division and began working professionally as a Hair & Makeup Artist. He also served as National Makeup Artist for shu uemura Canada for more than ten years.

His international career includes Toronto Fashion Week and ongoing participation in New York Fashion Week since 2008. He has also worked on Fashion Week shows and Editorial, Beauty, and Commercial productions in Milan, Paris, and other cities around the world. In 2021 and 2023, he served as Lead Makeup Artist in Milan and New York.

Based in New York from 2016 to 2019 and again from 2024 to 2025, Taca is now based in Japan. Alongside his work as a Hair & Makeup Artist, he is also involved in Team Direction, Art Direction, and artist education.

His work goes beyond technique. Through color, shape, and texture, he captures the presence that emerges from within each person—creating Hair & Makeup that expresses their individuality through emotion.
